Lens
A single line of light meets a narrow lens.
Teru is the Japanese verb for shining. The studio takes its name from the moment before you can see: mystery, astronomy, the act of illumination. Japanese-rooted, made for anywhere, and broad enough to sit over everything the studio makes.
The opening sequence and the mark are the same idea, drawn once. Everything the studio ships carries it.
A single line of light meets a narrow lens.
The light splits into five rays and fades.
The lens widens into the crystal. The spectrum stays inside.
Teru Studio builds its own products and takes on a small amount of client work each year. Independence is the point: we choose what to build, we build it properly, and we keep it running. Everything the studio ships, from a bakery's order book to a game, carries the same mark.
